Mikey's Guest Book

Since this site was set up on 12 December 1999, I have been overwhelmed by the flood of positive messages about it. Thank you to you all ! But now I have had to stop the Comments facility, as it was plagued by spammers.

Here is a selection of the comments I have received in the past (and they are all genuine, by the way!):

OMG! Where's that photo from!? We look like 80's throwbacks! Anyway, interesting site Mikey.. but definately need more goss and piccies of you looking as lovely as ever! xx (definately need one in "Secret Lemonade Drinker" silly pose stylee)

Saturday is our day for America's greatest hits.

What can I say Mike, most of the women on your site would like to know your details, or else want you to set up some sort of dating agency!?! Do you re-set your counter every day, month or lunar cycle? do you give feedback to anyone, if so it could be another page!!!!! bye for now...K

By 1835 the first baking powder compound had been created with the addition of Cream of Tartar. It was found that it gave more consistent results although it was more expensive than bicarbonate of soda and had a shorter shelf life. Experimentation continued and by the 1850s the Cream of Tartar was replaced with calcium phosphate which, whilst cheaper than Cream of Tartar, still produced most of the gas at the bench stage. The first Modern day, commercially prepared baking powder was born.

This site is the biggest load of b*llocks I have ever seen. Is there anything else on it apart from from the first page and the comments. If so how do you get into them?? If not what a waste of time Michael. Make it more interesting. Where are the pictures of naked ladies etc.?? Sort it out Michael!

It had been 12 years since I had last wandered through the night with large antenna in hand, but it was an amazing feeling to be back out in the field radio-tracking hedgehogs.

Hey Mikes, What are you doing to ensure a lasting interest in your site? I miss your John Major impression when you're not around.

Clare Brennan

Does anyone remember what happened at 21:30Hrs on 5th February 1924?

Toby Sanders

Nice site, but you do need more photos - how about a few from your South African trip? (Alternatively, we might have some more interesting ones - yours for just £10,000 each (including negatives...))

Neil Reddin

Great, how do you manage all those women stalking you after this star appearance?

Gary Johnson

Good website - the colours are very psychedelic. Yeah baby, yeah!!

Justine Phillips

Is Vic there?

Toby Sanders

What can I say?!! Keep up the good work!

Tony Weller

Excellent stuff ..... I'll come back and visit you later!, when there's a bit more gossip and scandal!!

Sharon Evans

My wife says that it's the dog's bollocks!

Damian West

Fantasticola!!

Jackie Doyle-Price

Shouldn't you include some 'personal' information so that all the web women can assess your suitability for a virtual date. I think the web site's great - you've become a real techie!!

Lisa Page

Sorry, but I really don't think you should run for Mayor. You have more skeletons in your closet than Archer and Norris put together. You have too much free time - must come from working in the public sector! I shall await further developments in this exciting venture in due course. Is there a prize for the millionth visitor?

Martyn Sargeant

Come on, you've got a better chance [of becoming Mayor of London] than Dobbo !

Julian Dyson

Mike, it's improving - could well lead to big and wonderful things. Scan in some photos or start a "dating on the net" site.

Anne Marshall

Purple and yellow - yuk!

Dave Burbage

How about a "sinbin of shame section"?

Liz Truss

I've long been interested in learning more about Eltham. Can you include some local information on your website?

Hugh O'Leary

I must also mention one magnificent afternoon around Easter 1978, when at around 3.30pm on BBC-2, the colour bars which had been showing disappeared to be replaced by a view of a room with lots of wires around, occasionally focusing on testcards propped up on music type stands. The BBC were actually testing a camera live on screen!

Toby Sanders

Lovely picture.

Mark Page

Most amusing. How about lots more photos of people having fun.

Adrian Marshall

I was allegedly the 800th visitor to your site. A most compelling and intellectually rewarding experience. Fascinating. Why aren't many women called Ada these days?

Toby Sanders

Excellent Mike! Very impressive! What about your photo and CV?????

Laura Rayment

Very good Mike ! How about some pictures of you and your mates having a good time ?

Duncan Mountford

What great ideas ! Here's just such a photograph !
